29 and 30 April 2017
THE THIRD NATIONAL (UN)CONFERENCE
for school teachers
WHAT IS EDCAMP
EdCamp (un)conferences are held by adopting new participant-driven format for educators to co-create all over the world.
Place for professional development
Open exchange of teaching experience and collaboration based
on the "Give – Get" principle.
Everyone
is a change agent
An effective model for transformations in education at the level of a daily lesson, a school, a region
and the country as whole.
A tool for building up
the communities
Educators hold (un)conferences
to unite in their communities for solving the most concerning problems.
INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT EDCAMP
6 TENETS OF EDCAMP
Free of charge
EdCamp is offered at no cost
to attendees. It is a strict condition ensuring equal chances
of all educators.
The program is created by participants on the first day
On the first day morning
all participants plan the timetable
and session topics. Due to
the spontaneity, the plan of events meets the needs of the participants
as much as possible.
Independence
EdCamps do not have
any supervisors from state authorities or vendors. Everyone is free
to express their thoughts, take part in
a discussion and defend their opinion.
Everyone can become
a speaker
If you attend EdСamp, you are empowered to drive the conversation. Everyone can share their experience
in the uniting atmosphere.
Free initiative
Everyone can host EdСamp
in his/her area: any local
educational department,
school, public organization
or informal group of teachers.
Reliant
on the "law of two feet"
Attendees find the sessions
meeting their needs on their own.
The ”law” ensures an effective way
to “drop out” the presentations
that are not topical for educators
or presented in an unattractive way.

5 REASONS WHY YOU CAN’T MISS EDCAMP UKRAINE 2017
MISSION
I want to be interesting to those whom I teach using the best educational practices –
to prepare children for the real life,
not just for exams.
FREEDOM
I will choose only those sessions that I need.
150 training options from national and international practitioners are waiting for me.
DIALOGUE
Within two days representatives
of the authorities of different levels will be
with us. I want to meet them in person and ask
them a few questions.
NETWORKING
I want to meet with people who also care about
the ways to develop the education system in Ukraine. And there will be over 500 people!
MOVEMENT
The coordinators of mini-EdCamps will be
the guests of the (un)conference – I want
to learn how to organize such a unique event
at my school.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN EDCAMP UKRAINE 2017
Everything is simple. The main criterion is your motivation for development and willingness
to accept responsibility! Both young specialists and experienced educators are invited to take part in the event. The subject you teach, the age of your students and the position you occupy
do not affect the results of the contest selection.
